Granadilla is the fruit of Passiflora ligularis. This climbing plant has large and elegant heart shape leaves. The blue purple flowers are surprisingly beautiful and release a soft and delicate fragrance. In South America, Passiflore ligularis grows in tropical areas between 1,500 and 2,200 meters, where the temperature ranges from 10 to 24C.
